ABOUT ACTION DAY
Beginning in 2011, Action Day is a one day conference that focuses on Cath-Lab complications. The event features case presentations with a few key points, no didactic talks or lectures.
Action Day exposes the audience to both rare and common complications, in the knowledge that experience is key to the recognition and successful management of complications. Our intention is to improve outcomes of future complications by exposing the audience to unexpected situations and discussing potential solutions. Action Day is targeted towards all of those who work in catheter labs, Interventionalists, Trainees, Nurses, Radiographers and Techs.
Although the event is funded by Eastern Heart Clinic and Industry, it is very much a non-commercial enterprise and all hospitals are invited to present educational cases.
The number of attendees has increased annually and in 2022 was capped at 700 guests. This year is again expected to be fully subscribed.
Our feedback from previous Action Days has been outstanding with many attendees commending the strength of the cases and the courage shown by the speakers.
We intend for education and patient care to be the winners, we look forward to your participation in Action Day.
